The 944s got lumped together with 968s and 928s, I don't think anyone running the show really cares about front engine Porsches.

I am really thinking about making the drive up from Phoenix. I'd be happy to caravan along with anyone else coming through this way. I'll probably bring my boys and do the camping option.
EDIT - Tickets are bought. The boys and I will be camping on-site. Who wants to meet in Phoenix for the drive up?

Three Wheelin'
A couple of observations from the Rennsport Reunion in 2004 at Daytona. There were 110 cars in my run group. You couldn't fit that many at Laguna in one group, so enter early, I'm sure that they will have to cut off entries. If I remember correctly there were about 600 entries at Daytona Rennsport Reunion. Laguna is one of the coolest tracks in the country. (IMHO) Also the biggest surprise I saw for PCA Club Racers was that there was no 13/13. In my group a slant nose 930 cut in on a 944, thinking he would give space. "Wrong" fiberglass everywhere. The 930 guy was surprised and angry to find out the rules for car contact was---- "there were no rules". Brian Redman was who did the one at Daytona, and I would think he is doing this one, though I am not sure.

I spoke with Barry at Laguna Seca last week. He said they may try to keep enteries to 200 cars. With registration being handled by Laguna Seca/SCRAMP I would think Brian Redman is not going to be in charge as he was in earlier Rennsports.
If only 200 cars are accepted, this will be an exclusive event like the Porsche 50th event was at the Historics.
