Looks like I'm at the Hyatt as well. Looking forward to meeting some of you guys.

Going with a fellow Rennsport member.

Flying in for sure. Too far to drive.

Probably San Fran. Going to take a few extra days and make a week or so of it.

Someone at Laguna Seca might be able to at least point you in the right direction. The main office number is - 831.242.8201

I think I may take the week off and drive. I have always wanted to do a cross country drive. Anyone care to join me?

Per Mazda Raceway folk, they are intending to have application forms by end of next week.

Another reminder to book hotels, et cetera early.

I have a related question... do any of y'all remember whether there were on track driving/racing opportunities at RR III at Daytona for those WITHOUT historically significant racing cars? I seem to remember watching some coverage on TV and them showing some fun races... but my memory is kind of foggy. What I really want to know is whether such opportunities may arise for RR IV.

Rennsport Reunion allowed about any race worthy Porsche to enter, not like Monterey Historics.

About $41 per night, safe to park a 911 there?

I have had friends stay at the Good Night Inn and Motel 6 in Salinas. Any of those discount places can be fine for the most part ... however the exact "state" of the discount places in Salinas in terms of the quality of the rooms and so on probably varies a little bit at different times.

And depending on what else is going on in the area, the other guests can be into some "different activities." I know a couple that had a lousy stay during one of our Laguna events at one of those places because there was a police action at the motel that required them to vacate for quite some time in the early morning hours one day.

My guess is that for this weekend, there will be plenty of alert Porsche owners at the Good Nite Inn. When I stayed there for the historics a couple of years ago, there was a couple of million $ in cars in the lot.

Just spoke with Barry at Laguna Seca, they will in fact be handling the registration as noted by mclaudio above. LS staff have a meeting with Porsche mid week, Barry said he expects to have registration forms on their website late next week, hopefully by March 25th. Obviously "cars with history" will be the first accepted, they will try to keep the number of enteries at a managable level. The number of entries will be discussed later this week with Porsche.

This will be a fantastic event.

Anyone have a schedule from lll? Not clear on the run groups, I know Pirelli Cup is running but if you also sign up with the "historied" cars are you running parade laps with the expensive tin? Not that that wouldn't be wild to follow some of the big iron around...
