The hell with suing, build another race car!

I don't remember the legal situation on this one (btw, the owner of Tracer was Tom Foster of Foster Farms - not living check to check) but Ford did buy the Lynx name from the FV builder which renamed its cars Caracal.

I wish. Motorsports is part of Marketing at Ford. We all saw how pathetic the Jaguar endeavor went. That's a snapshot. Too bad, Ford has some of the best engineers out there.

I know (knew) the foster family pretty well, and i dont remeber a "Tom" (Janet, kerry, Ron were the kids who are al in their ( 30s and 50s now) .
Was he a cousin or something. Never knew they had someone into racing in their family.

that picture of the truck and Ferarri was ugly. What happened, if I missed someone's story there.

see this history note the 70's section. Tracer was a pretty big operation (18 wheeler before everyone had one) for privateer SCCA club racers. Ran a couple of CSR's and always brought a hot tub to the runoffs where they won several times. Don't remember any chickens in the pits tho

Yup, I can see it now. Luca enters his office and tells his secretary "Please shut the door-ah." He then proceeds to remove his jacket and rock out to this:

I'm all for the separation of Ferrari F1 cars and trucks. Last time someone compared to the two he was promptly fired - IMHO one of the biggest losses to Ferrari in their history.

In the Canadian section of Rennlist we where trying to decide if somebody becomes an a$$hole while driving an F150, or is it that a$$hole choose to drive F150s? I guess in the case of the Ferrari F150 the latter is true...
