it's not so much a question of wheel size as it is a question of tire rolling diameter or rolling circumference. It's really all about running the 275/35/15 R6 in the rear...

I do have fikse and Jongbloed. The latter are lighter.

I like them a lot. Ryan is a nice guy too.

Gary thanks for mentioning the Braid wheels. I have used the 15 x 9 semi-forged Fuchs replicas. They also make three piece forged wheels in 15's in 5 spoke and 10 spoke designs.

One thing to consider in your search for wheel is one piece (CCW) vs. multi-piece (most of the rest). And in the multi-piece world, there is also gasket seals (like BBS) vs. sealant sealed (most of the rest). One piece never leak, multi-piece w/gasket almost never leak, multi-piece w/sealant leak occasionally. You especially have to worry about tire mounting guys with the sealant rims..if they gouge it while mounting a tire, it leaks. You may find this out in a middle of a race. Some brands are better with the sealant than others.

Personally, I would get CCWs or BBSs. My CCWs are absolutely bomb proof (I am actually thinking of selling my CCWs since I don't race the cup any more).

Thanks Colin - Not sure which CCWs you have but mine are 3 piece with a silicone seal between the halves. I never had leaking issues with my 2 sets but not to say it doesn't happen. As of today John doesn't make a 15" wheel but that may change.
