The brand of tires and their exact specifications are critical in assessing fit as tire sizes can have some important variations in actual specifications.

Not that bad G... not that bad. No rubbing at all and still somewhat of a lip. Rear wheels same as AnalogMike's.

What size front wheels are you guys using/go to use with 15s in the rear? 15 as well?
I run 275/40/17s on my car and have never had an issue with rubbing. Why would an even lower profile tire rub?

I think the Buckley's may be the way to go. They definately fit and have been run and tested. Last I checked they were not a bad price either.

Has anyone heard of any durability issues with the Buckley (Keizer) wheels?

Some guys around where I am have had cracking issues with the Jongbloed wheels so you should check that out thoroughly before going that route.

When I went to place my order for the wheels from Jeff, Kodiak decided the price they quoted to Jeff was too low and jacked the price up significantly. Jeff got the price down a little bit but not enough. Kodiak's business practices are suspect anyway due to the extreme build times I have heard about recently. This quote a price (supposedly good for 30 days) and then raise it at the last minute when the order is placed tactic is completely out of line.

Bottom line? Stay away from Kodiak! Jeff Alton is great to deal with though.

It looks like I will be getting two sets of CCW Classic or Bogart RR10 wheels instead.

I am going with these Spanish made 3 piece forged Braid 10 spoke wheels. The 15 x 8 et+23 at $450 and the 15 x 9 et+15 at $460. The semi-forged one piece Fuchs replicas are 15 x 8 et+10 at $653 and the 15 x 9's are available in et+15 at $761 and et-3 at $681.

Man all this talk about reverting to 15"s is scaring me. Do you guys always run on these or is it a case of Nouveau-Retro? I realise that you are going to have a lower rolling radius hence shorter / ratio faster acceleration but it also means more changing of gears. I suppose on earlier 911s this is not such a bad thing. I have a shorter ratio gearbox with the S2 ring and pinion and like it, but I'm sure that with forced induction being able to utilise the torque more with less gear changes is equally desirable.

Anyway, with some of these lighter wheel brands is there any concern over their structural integrity?

You bring up a good point. OTOH, it looks like Canada based Kodiak manufactures using the same process as their larger wheels. And if that's the case, seems likely their 15"s are lighter and at least as strong as their 16, 17, 18's. (But what do I know.)

For my money the ideal race quality 15" should be strong, light and $500. Ugly design and crude finish is good provided production costs are concentrated in engineering and metallurgy.

No final decision yet Mark, but the sizes are 15x8 and 15x9.

I needed 16x11 and 16x13 and decided to go with Bogart RR10 3-piece wheels.

Never heard of them and their site sure doesn't impress.. Tried to submit a contact form and it's a dead link. Send their "webmaster" and email and it bounces back.
What kind of prices are they getting?

I don't care how good or bad their web site is. I care that they make quality wheels that are inexpensive, strong, light, and work well for the intended application.

These wheels are commonly used here in Northern California by Porsche GT racers in the Porsche Racing Club (PRC).

I was quoted $4,462.00, shipped, for two sets in the size I wanted.

Here is the contact information I have:
