Default Summit Point Update?

Any news from Summit Point? I had to cancel my registration this week but curious how the racing is going.

well I am at home so go figure!!! (new turbo installed for this weekend decided to blow)

sprint group 3 (SPB - E class) Overall first race moses 1st Freddy second, second race Freedy over Moses. I think Tim Costa won the first SPB race. Sprint group 2 (F-I) Baron took the overall win in race 1.

By that stage I was loaded up so no more details

Dan, That absolutely sucks...... What happened that led to the turbo blowing up? Seems like the turbo on that car is continually giving you headaches.

Great job by Fred, Moses, et al, but the PCA came up with a new award , "The Clorox Moment" and gave it to Fred. WRONG. Guess they don't realize that sideways in the dirt at track out is just "another day in the office" for Fred.

Thx for the update. Glad the weather and track conditions appear to have been outstanding.

I watched the race posted above from the stands in T9. Exciting as hell battle for 1/2. Would have liked to see some passing, since I like that but that #27 was driving the freaking wheels off the car! Brakes locking up in the chute nearly every lap, still holding off #64.

One of the 911 (#20?) fogged the track in oil and I watched that green 944 sliding sideways down the chute as a result. Surprised it wasn't worse than that.

d00d that a great race to watch. I showed my daughter the numbers to watch and why and she was arms up happy when you gained ground. That was some tight racing for all 4 front runners.

Lots of good racing this weekend. thanks for the show!

Thanks Kurt!

It was definitely a fun Saturday even though I was on the losing end in both of my races. It was interesting after basically not driving for most of this year and trying to get back up to speed quickly. I was mildly successful with my pace, yet I couldn't quite re-connect with decent race craft! Ugh... I went from first to fourth within 2 laps during race 2. Video to come this week and more commentary (excuses) I'm sure. But overall and most importantly, to me, it was a lot of fun!

There will be video galore later but Sean and I had the best run of our lives in Sprint 3 today. Passes, re-passes, and nose-tail running for a finish less than .2 apart for a 1 & 2 finish. Both ran our best laps with Sean at a 1:24.6 and me at a 1:24.7. Can't say enough about it but just too wiped right now..

Just think about what could have been if you had 3rd gear.
