Car wouldn't start. Friggin DME was under water. Drilled drain holes, removed DME and dried thoroughly.
Car fired right up.

Charlie- was great running with you, had no third gear exiting T1 after a few laps, bet you were sorry to see me back off (and by back off I mean F-up)!

Enduro was awesome. Not a single yellow. And all the different car classes worked extremely well together.

+1 Yes indeed. Thanks for not hitting us!

I was much relieved at how gentlemanly the upper run groups were behaving during the enduro and it was much appreciated. I'm sure I held some of you up but tried to get you around as quickly as possible.

Really great work out there by all.

Had a great weekend at my rookie PCA race. Learning the car, dialing in the car and learning to dial back the driver.

Sprint 3 was a particular highlight with a downfall. Started 2nd from last with Scott due to DNF in prior Sprint. Worked up through the field to P2 in Spec Boxster and on the last lap was the first car through debris in T5 and put 2 wheels off going into T6 letting 2 Spec Boxsters by. Finished 4th.

As for the Enduro.... sorry about the massive smoke screen I caused from T3 to T4. My air-oil separator let go. I thought the motor let go and moved over into the grass but wasn't seeing any fluids so I returned to the pits and packed it up.

Crazy weekend for me. Broke a control arm in T3 during 3rd practice on Friday. LF was basically a disaster at that point. And then the oil pan was poked by the parts as the car was pulled onto the rollback. But with help and encouragement from a number of sources, we somehow got the car back on track for the final Sprint on Saturday. Also ran well in the Sunday Sprint and Enduro. I am still amazed we pulled it off.

The Enduro was incredible. Thanks to all you fast cars for being so gentlemanly out there. Passes around me were quick and fast for the most part. Great fun, and kudos (again) to all the organizers for a phenomenal event!!

Starla did a great job dealing with the different opinions with respect to the three races and enduro etc. I think a 60 minute enduro, like NJMP, might be better attended.

The only concern I have is the alloted time for the dealers. The one hour on Saturday could have translated to an additional 10 minutes for each of the six Sprint Races held that day. We had a wave off for one race and that just allowed less time for the actual race.

Still a great weekend on a much improved track surface!
