Does anyone have any video of the track after the latest repairs?

Interested in seeing how different it is from last year's conditions during the CR.

Come on guys, you don't want me to be the only "yankee" down there. It always is one of the most fun races and great people. With everyone swearing the track is fixed you don't want to miss it

Up to 79 drivers. Glad to see Sean Foster and Paolo, and Fred C! Gary, does that mean you and Bella are coming?

Fred, when I last talked to Dwayne, he said he was coming. I guess he just hasn't registered yet.

Chris, maybe you can get the "boss" to reconsider. Shorter tow to SP than to Savannah.

I'm not sure yet. I'm waiting to see what i have to do to my car to run NASA at the Glen Oct 1-3. If it's too much, then off we go to Summit.

Now, can someone tell me about the famous BBQ dinner? What's up with that?

The BBQ is just good food. Pulled Pork, BBQ chicken, and all sorts of other stuff. If you like good BBQ, you will enjoy it. Plus the give drivers' gifts are going to be cool. Track in good shape, hopefully the groups splits will put A-F, plus SPB and GT5.

Tremper, Debusman, Bell, Gomez, Ed Kovalevich, Doug Fero, Vietz, Kintzi, Adams..... looks like H class is going to be hot hot hot. Guess I'd be a fool to miss this one (that'll make 10 so far in H).

I'd keep my eyes on Ed and Doug.... those two guys are hungry, and they've been running very very fast lately.

Nice driving Scott! Looks like you had a blast with that BMW, assume he went off into the grass in T5 at the end?

Paolo, I have some video, but the track conditions are just okay. T1 is back to bumpy. T3 is good, bottom of the shoot is smooth, but the carousel is breaking up if you take the wide line. We bicycled the track last month after the first race and looked at the conditions of the grip. PM me for a boring, but accurate report.

Just put 2 wheels off but got back in the race. He ended up winning the damn race when I spun in the oil

In the 5 years I've been going to Summit the track has never been in better shape. Is it perfect? No. But it's not any rougher than the esses at WG. Hell, they even delayed a race to repair a chunk that came up at Daytona. All tracks have these issues and SP is in fine shape. Don't let rumored track condition keep you from entering.

It's fast too. Track records have fallen all year long.
