From the Road Atlanta web-site

The 125cc rule will be enforced by security. Which simply means:

All unlicensed Motorcycles, Scooters, ATV’s and Off Road Vehicles under 125cc will NOT be permitted on the premises. We will provide a secured impound area if needed. This includes pocket rockets and razors.

All unlicensed Motorcycles, Scooters, ATV’s and Off Road Vehicles above 125cc and personal Golf Carts will be permitted to purchase an approved sticker at the security office for $50.00 per event. The appropriate waiver must be signed at the time of purchase.

All licensed vehicles must purchase proper parking sticker before entering the gate. This includes Motorcycles, Cars, Trucks, Vans, and Motorhomes.

Waiver Conditions:
I agree NOT to allow anyone under sixteen (16) years of age or anyone without a valid drivers’ license to operate my non-licensed motorized and or battery operated vehicle.

NEW - I understand that Road Atlanta has a “Helmet On” policy for riding Scooters, Motorcycles and ATV’s at all times while in the Infield.

I assume full responsibility for any risk of bodily injury, death or property damage arising out of or related to my actions while driving my non-licensed motorized and/or battery-operated vehicle on Road Atlanta property. I also assume full responsibility for any passengers I may have.

go to http://zone3.pca.org, and at the bottom under Upcoming Events click the More Info Here after Petit LeMans listing for a link to a .pdf with all the info you'll need: how to get Porscheplatz car corral passes, registration, event info, and the schedule
I've already got my tickets and I'm driving my truck down, what does the Porscheplatz off those of us who are driving their tow vehicle to the race?

Well, last year you would have been the only one to get OUT of the paddock

Porschplatz parking is for Porsches' only. However, anyone can stop by the tent, register, and enjoy the amenities (refreshments, tent to get out of all the sun we're going to have, big TV to watch the action, door prizes, guest speakers, etc.). You'll just have to park with someone like the Corvette Club if you bring a truck...

I like door prizes! I parked in the support paddock last year. It was a blessing!

Better wear a "My other car is a Carrera GT" t-shirt.

Any recommendations for a nice dinner on Thursday evening? Hoping to catch the GT3 race and maybe one other, then eat dinner before the 7pm practice.

try Houndstooth Grill. It's up the road a mile or so from Chateau Elan.

I looking for advice on what the better way to follow the race: using a handheld radio or a scanner?

Radio LeMans does a great job following the race, but I have never tried a scanner. That would be pretty sweet. Anyone have experience?

I asked the same question about Sebring. I was told the scanner is good during practices as there is more talking but not much talking going on over the various team frequencies. Wish I was going. ONLY 5 1/2 MONTHS TILL SEBRING!!!!

Question How to Listen to Radio LeMans?

What is the best way to listen to Radio LeMans while at the race?

I had a KangarooTV at LeMans, and just loved it, but I don't think they'll be at Petit.

Thanks,

Mark

As it turns out, I managed to clear out my Friday afternoon schedule, and I'll be flying to Atlanta from Sacramento instead of home to San Diego! I won't land until Friday @ Midnight, and am staying near the airport. But, I'll be at the track fairly early on Sat to scope out my first Petit.

This is the finale to my Daytona 24, Le Mans 24 and now Petit trifecta for 2010. Also Long Beach was in the midst.

Besides, too friggin' hot in Calif this week.
