"I am embarrased when my co-workers see my YouTube videos" ROFL!!!

Nice work. As a former '44 drover (for 9 years!), it speaks to me.

Ummm... Well...

I can't say that one was as well written as the Dickie script. Kind of confused, and not exactly reality based a lot of the time. A few chuckles. I wish I knew about that program. I've got a more factual take on it all, at least from my perspective.

I have a friend driving an $800 944 EBay Beater Special on M&S tires. Previously he drove an extremely well kitted 930. Now all he's got is stock Bilsteins, seats, and harnesses... and no power. Nothing else. He has been asked by some groups to move down because of speed differentials. I don't guess it matters that he is driving harder - and likely far better - than most anyone else out there.

Too bad, really. That's what I heard it was all about, once upon a time.

EDIT - Investigating website/software.

John, the software is internet based and IIRC free. This one was made by a fellow Potomac memeber that droves a red 944. Even the well driven fofos such as his canget smacked around by the $$$ firepower we see on track nowadays.

Love it. It could apply to 914 guys just as easy.

I had the opportunity to instruct the creator's spouse a few years ago in the same reddish 9... 44. I believe it was one of her first events.

Getting up to speed on the first couple of laps and onto the main straight, I told her it's OK to floor it.

Her response: "I've had it floored for 10 seconds."
