Matt threw a really nice get together yesterday. It was great to meet some of the Rennlisters that you only know from posting. Thanks again & the brats were absolutely delicious!

Wayne, you should be here. You would love the group sitting in front of us. A real bunch of Schumacher haters. Wore Nico shirts and gave Schumie the one finger salute every time he came around. And you should have heard their celebration when he got bumped out of Q3.
LOL... Larry ...

My Bwoys ... they made it . what a waste of 30 million by Mercedes paying that Putz, if only they had stayed with Rosberg and forced Schumacher to catch up ..

Bizarre race. Definitely not a boring race. You didn't know what was going to happen for the first half what with all the pit stops. But then it settled down in the 2nd half of the race.

I kind of like Bridgestone screwing up on tire selections for the race (There was no way for them to know, so "screwing up" is used loosely)

Multiple pit stops, passing, and cars sliding around. I liked it!

Great race. Shumi's behavior not so much.

Best race of the year. Lots of action. Strange coverage by Fox.

The only way it could have been better is if Hammy and Alfredo had taken each other out in the pits.

Interesting to say if the FIA or Bridgestone screwed up.
Perhaps Bridgestone should have told the FIA to use the hard and soft (skipping medium, one compound in between per the regs).
Perhaps the FIA had other ideas...who knows.

I don't think Bridgestone's heart is in it any longer, since they are on the way out.

Set the DVR to record based on an expected normal start time, didn't remember to add an extra 30 minutes, since I didn't expect a stupid NA$CAR truck race to pre-empt qualifying coverage...

NA$CAR simply can't suck enough..

Agreed. What the hell was that coverage of the last 3 or 4 laps where they didn't even show the front runners?

I found it funny how the commentators kept educating their NASCAR base about F1 even though they were all watching TNT while the Sprint Cup boyz traded paint in Michigan.

BWAYYYYYYY .................. dats funny .......

I was wondering why Webbo looked so upset after Q3 , maybe he knew his car would need a sudden box change , losing 5 positions ..

Vettel has more than just his training wheels on , Yep ole Vettel touting Pampers! The response from the team regarding his Fastlap request was priceless.

Very good intensive race , maybe the FIA should force the teams to alternate what compound they can start the race on ...

This was certainly a race to attend based on the weather and the tv coverage. Bob R. thanks for the hospitality at the Porsche party Friday night and it was meeting your group. From the 1st corner, we could see the race unfolding into the MC's lap. Webber was pitted too late and lost way to much ground on the 1st set of tires. He was losing big chunks of time in the mid-race laps. Vettel ran out of gas just past the front straight which showed they are having to really push right now. Button showed he can pass!!

Man, those second set of prime tires went a lonnnggg way. I was waiting for the top half of the field to DNF. Screwy option tire rules are a remnant of the screwy Max Mosley era.
