I'm sticking with Vettel. Forecast is for showers which will make things interesting. Another PCA party is Friday night at the Hotel St-Paul at 355 McGill street in Old Montreal. Organized by Porsche Lauzon (big local dealer), Rennsport PCA, Hotel St-Paul owned by a Rennsport PCA member and Moet Chandon (Champagne and Hennessey Cognac outfit).

Cost is 75 bucks, valet parking and the menu is outstanding. Cocktails at 6 PM. SUGGEST YOU CALL TO RESERVE

RESTAURANT VAUVERT
355 rue McGill, Vieux-Montréal ( coin place Youville)
réservation: 514-876-2823
www.restaurantvauvert.com

PM me if you need info.

I am trying to organize a visit to Matt's place as long as you all know I was not the one who banned Paolo

Best,

Worse, the cops here have radar detector detectors which are very effective. If you have one, unplug it and put it in the trunk.

Bob etc.,

I'd love to meet you at Hotel St-Paul, but I won't be arriving until Friday night.

Great job Blackhawks...it's certainly been a while! But how anticlimatic was that ending...

I'm picking Lewis. Street course...chance of rain...and I think from what I've read that the Evil Empire has got their act together and will be much closer to Red Bull than earlier in the year. That's why it was so important for Team Energy Drink to not break down so often. Ferrari don't have to have a ton of downforce here, but it still wouldn't surprise if they struggle. As much success as MS has had in Canada, it really doesn't suit his driving style, but I still say he bests Nico and that both end up behind Kubica. I don't know who'll be quicker between the RB's because I don't think Vettel or Webber's style suits this course, thus it'll probably be down to who's driving style the car suits more.

Alonso has the same # of votes as Taku ... I wonder if Little Miss Sunshine watches the RL polls?

It wil certainly rain on the track this weekend, most likely qualifying however... I spent the day driving through a rain system slowly making it's way to Montreal. Seeing what's behind it, I think the race will be dry, but will start with damp or washed track on Sunday.

This will be a great race weekend... I call first points for Lotus thanks to attrition! Go Heikki!

So if in fact it does rain, it won't be a matter of who will win but more so, who will screw things up?

Well, the last time F1 came to Montreal ... Hamilton drove into the back of Raikkonen's car in pit lane. He can't possibly screw up at the same track, again... can he??

I vote Hamilton ... the force is strong in that one ...

Agree with the above, except for the last statement, Maradona IS very well respected by the players, the oposition comes from the public and media because he is indeed NUTS... if Messi could do 30% Diego did in 1986...

For Montreal I'll pick Weber-Hamilton... I did pick Vettel last race

Go Argentina, Go USA...!
So much to watch this weekend and I'm working...

What, Rugby League.

Oh, and don't mistake this for Rugby. Same beginnings, different outcome...

I've made the trip a thousand times when I was in school at McGill. I also drove the circuit regularly on weekends.
Was at the GP during the iconic A Jones/G Villeneuve era, also unfortunately when R Paletti met his fate.
Great spectating, and right into the city by Metro for nightlife.
Have a great time, guys!

So if I am hearing you correctly take I 87 all the way up and shut the built in K-40 as soon as I get to Canada.

Thanks for the advise as having my built in Radar trn out would not be cool.
