I used to agree with the common thought that Webber was a really good driver with bad luck, but after years of seeing him be out qualified, out raced, and hitting everything at the track (probably including the grid girls), I gave up on him last week.

Redbull could use a better driver to partner Vettel, no question. But keep Webber in F1, as he certainly adds excitement at whatever speed he is driving at...

I picked Alonso for the win, because I made a mental mistake. I was thinking about the Singapore street circuit not Malaysia! Doh! If I had a coffee BEFORE my choice perhaps I would have selected better, but maybe what I really needed was a glass of bourbon.

I think it will be a McLaren win, but it is irrelevant which driver because it will most likely be a McLaren 1 - 2 finish.

The way I rationalize my choice is that this is the first track that thier new aero device will be a major factor. The two long straights back to back will give them a large advantage for a passing opportunity into turn 1.

Not sure if I can stomach the British coverage when Hamilton does well this race... it will be lots of tripe about how he comes back from adversity after the horrors of last weekend. Yes, the underprivileged messiah has fought for a comeback... in less then 8 days... The British will write a new chapter in the Bible if he wins.

I am not a McLaren fan...

Then again, if Jensen pastes him for the 2nd time...

Rumor in the paddock was that Webber will retire at the end of this season ...
No idea if it's true or not.

Interesting tidbits from the team owners' meeting today, they've discussed reintroducing KERS for next season as well as moving to 18" wheels because the tire blankets are going to disappear in 2011...

LOL! The opposite actually, I do enjoy it. But if I was on the team I would question if he was the best choice...

Actually now that I think of it, perhapes the reckless lifestyle of a kid hopped up on Redbull is exactly the image Webber is trying to manufacture... Okay keep him on the team.

KERS again? Horrible idea IMO. Unresticted rpms with a set amount of fuel, or turbos with adjustable boost (and possibly a set amount of fuel). If F1 wants electric cars then maybe they should start racing golf carts. I honestly think what they're doing is, by changing the rules constantly from one year to another, trying to stop what Ferrari did from 2000 to 2004 or Mclaren from 1988 to 1991.

they need to allow testing. this is silly. the people with money will spend it one way or another but at least let teams work out their issues and learn. i'd like to see the younger drivers develop with some more seat time.
