that I won't be able to make Lime Rock club race in April

So I am looking for a replacement race and VIR in June seemed like a good possibility......

The only problem is that I have never driven VIR, so......

1. Is VIR a good replacement for the LRP race in fun factor?

2. How difficult of a track is it to just learn a day before the race?

Totally different tracks IMO. Can you learn it in a day? Sure, the 85% solution there is simple. The extra 15% isn't. Incredible & gorgeous track, though.

VIR is the GREATEST!!!! I love it, my Watkins Glen south. Most of it is easily learned, the "roller coaster section" takes some tome to master. I am doing Zone two De there in March, there are others before the June race, why not do one?

Are you doing the Mid Ohio race in May? Also an amazing track. Both Mid Ohio and VIR put LRP to shame IMHO.

VIR is an awesome track and experience - the country club of tracks. Like other have said it isn't difficult to learn the first 80%.

You'll love the track. Very different from Lime Rock and will only help you get to be a faster driver.

Not sure what you mean by that Joe? If you mean Lime Rock, I have over 60 track days there. If you mean VIR, ask BKS how I get around there.

BKS has is own special way up the esses.....evidently it's more of a straight than it looks. And he has some other "issues" as well.
