I'm sorta excited about this guy after watching some of his stuff.

USF1 had no chance at a big name this year. They could have gone with a known quantity who would have been nice and bland. At least with this guy there might be a chance for flashes of brilliance as we saw with Kobayashi at the end of last year.

I hope that our driver really delivers what USF1 needs, he is a more mature person and driver after racing 3 years in Argentina, our local joke is that the other argentinian racing drivers helped to raise the money to send him back to Formula 1 because he was winning everything here (Pole positions, races, fastest laps in 3 different categories) and they were really looking bad next to him

Now that Lopez is on the team, I'm sure all here on Rennlist will support him. As far as what USF1 needs from Lopez.... a strong ability to develope a car from scratch. He has a very difficult task ahead of him, but given the fact he is 26 and not 21, hopefully his maturity can go a long way. He's been given an opportunity that he didn't think he would ever get.
