Damned if I can find it though; can anybody point me toward this super secret setting?
Thanks in advance
Remember that QC505 won't fit your Aiptek, unless you upgraded it. We tried that last year at HVR event.

Thanks for the suggestion, though I was referring to the macro setting + wide angle setting, not an add on lens.
But I do appreciate the caution. I have been happy with the built in wide angle for my purposes, anyway.

The Mosport video may have the best sound quality I've heard from an Aiptek camera. What microphone and headphone voume controller did you use? Where did you mount the mic?

Mike, after searching a couple of places locally for a line-level attenuator (headphone volume control) and not finding anything, I ended up ordering this one - http://www.soundprofessionals.com/cg...item=SP-ATEN-1 to use with my GVS. Haven't tried it on track yet, that'll happen this weekend, but judging from my super-scientific garage-test results I'm enthusiastic about it fixing the distortion problem. Now I just need to make the car sound more exciting.

This is the volume controller used in the Mosport video for $8.99: http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=2102975

This is the external mic for $7.99: http://www.amazon.com/Hands-Free-Cli...1945835&sr=8-1
