Great to hear that someone picked up the Fikse business.

Now I'm less concerned about bending a wheel. I can already see the curbs cowering as I type......

Can anyone post a link to info on the Zuffenhaus/Alton Fuchs? I found a ton of posts of people showing them on pelican parts but no info on how/where to get them.

Gents,

Speaking from experience, be patient...

I have heard only good things, from several folks in 'the know', regarding Kodiak, but as an earlier poster suggested: if you want a bad-*** wheel for the long-term, then BBS is hard to beat.

I will say this, if the Kodiak folks have picked up the Fikse operation, I sincerely hope they are planning to support all of the existing Fikse owners...

Regards,

Dave

money can buy.” says Will. Fikse Wheels manufactures modular and monobloc wheels for motorsport, aftermarket, and original
equipment customers.

Put me in the opposite camp. A few years ago I went to Kodiak's facility to have my 968 measured for a set of wheels. They told me the wheels would ship in three weeks, but many phone calls later, I finally got them more than two months later. I would have gotten over it except for the fact that the wheels they shipped me had bolt holes too small to fit over the wheel studs, the wrong offsets, and the two front wheels were different widths!

Color me unimpressed -- in future, if I need custom wheels made on a budget, I'm sticking with CCW.

i dont know why some ppl MUST buy from companies that simply cannot get their acts together. 2 month for kodiak wheels.... i could have bought and sold the damn car 5x in that time. what use would those wheels do for me.

i wish them good luck, but i dont think i will be running fikse or kodiak.

Kodiak is also producing the new 3 piece Zuffenhaus Fuchs.... but I don't think my 6 month wait for one of the "first 50" is what people can expect in the future.
