Philip, yes the Zuffenhaus' wheels are being completed as we speak. Progress has been slow lately but once Fikse side of things settle down it will be full steam ahead.
Hi Won - any news on the Zuffenhaus wheels? It's been 11 weeks about since you wrote (earlier in this thread): .... "the Zuffenhaus' wheels are being completed as we speak." I placed my order in Nov 2009. I had considered switching to Fikse, but all roads now lead to Kodiak. How much longer before it's "full steam ahead"?

After all these stories, I ordered CCWs on June 25, they shipped yesterday, arriving on 7/6; can't be more content.

CCW is the way to go. only reason i dont have them now is they haven't designed CL for my car yet.

and why would anyone wait months for a set of wheels?

Custom wheels for a race car. Long story short. Ordered April 2007. Received October 2007, did not clear brakes, wheels did not conform to the agreed upon drawings. Send wheels back to Kodiak October 2007. Waiting for Kodiak to make new centers since then, contacted Kodiak numerous times, not getting anywhere in 2-3/4 years.

...and why do you put up with this? Take them to court and get your money back.

BBS, Brombacher, CCW, Forgeline, Jongs.... there's a lot of good stuff out there. My shop was absolutely burned when Fikse closed their doors. Money paid, no product, shop & customer screwed, no apparent recourse.

I know Kodiak is a 'new' outfit for Fikse, but they have a lot of work to do re. goodwill value and creating a consistent track record before I choose them over many other established options.

Fikse has delivered a number of wheel sets to a few of our local members. Turnaround time was optimistic.

What is the name of your shop? Please call me when you have a moment to discuss this.

Alan,

Have emailed you and cc'd the shop owner. I hope you can work something reasonable out because they're a damn good shop with a lot of Porsche customers, and not very happy about how they were treated by Fikse (i.e. significant deposit outstanding).

Thx,
Matt
