Probably going to sell the Killer Bee
Thinking of selling this record setting water cooled 1976 911 (Cup eater) w/o the drivetrain.
It's all set up for someone to drop in a 996 or 997 water-cooled motor, turbo or normally aspirated, and have a consistent and fun race winner.
The car is currently featured in the December issue of Excellence Magazine.
If you're thinking about a new track ride and would like to do a a 1:20.4 at Willow Springs, please PM me.
Thanks and Happy Holidays to all.

Great read in Excellence. Never put 2+2 together from seeing you post here, though! I wondered how such a project would work, on the cheap, when the first 996's started rolling off the assembly lines.

MK,
Just ready for a new project!
Ken,
Thanks. Zach Mayne did a good job on the article.
The concept of an early, light chassis with a water cooled motor has worked well and made me look good. The truth is the car is actually quite a bit faster than its owner and in the right hands could take seconds off the Class track records we set so far.
e.g., Kevin Roush has told me he believes he could get into the "teens" at Willow with The Bee. That's probably Radical territory??
