SAVE MONEY buy finishing the build on my Spec Miata, Ya that's right I am going to cut the budget. Going to race SCCA and NASA next year. Looking forward to bump drafting.

It was ugly nasty snap spin into the tire wall. Thankfully Nationwide was on my side on that one. You know what they say what does not Kill you will make you stronger. I like driving at the limit, I just need to make that a bit more affordable when the statistics catch up with you.

Three Wheelin'
Improve air flow around b-pillars
Improve air flow on front bumper (past front tires)
Louvers on front fenders?
Fab up carbon fiber tail lights (with LED inserts for brakes)
Fab up front underpanel (likely frp)
Lower car to absolute minimum ride height
Replace shift rod seal in 915 (in car)
Minor paint and bodywork
Here is an interesting project for some of you... I think it beats building a ship in a bottle... a duct to help ensure the fan draws cold air... mine is fits under a 3.8-style tailbase...
version 1 fabbed out of CF and Lexan
version 2 all CF...

Got a new to me SRF for next season- since we up here in Iowa don't race until April I've got plenty of time to go through it, clean it ( a clean race goes faster, or so it always worked for Penske), etc. Currently apart to rebuild transaxle, then replace some hoses, put in new Hans Scroth belts, new Momo steering wheel...

So it's not even Winter and we managed to squeeze in a big project,....just in time for the snow which is due to arrive tonight!
We moved into a house several months ago with a bow shaped driveway which is great for the trailer but even with very careful parking the trailer stuck out a bit onto the actual driveway. We erected a new fence between the driveway and the road which gained us a whopping 4 extra feel of usable yard width versus the old zig-zag fence which was OEM with the house. We then had an area of grass bricked in which now serves as a spot for the trailer. It could also be used for 2 cars if the trailer wasn't there. It's also nice to have a real fence now with gates to keep those prying eyes away from my car!
