on my E36 BMW with a 3/16" lexan front windshield, the weight savings was negligible compared with stock glass. replacement glass is roughly the same cost as the racing shields pre-formed lexan windshield.

1) Acquire a spare set of front hubs.
2) Buy spare front rotors and bearings. Assemble for quick install at track.
3) Adjust valves.
4) Change plugs and wires.
5) Change oil.
6) Flush brakes.
7) Remove headliner.
8) Install permanent power supply for camera.
9) Repaint Forgeline wheels.

First draft.

And the beat goes on.

I hate you. . I miss snow skiing so damn much. Im fat now.. no snow skiing in Houston. Used to go every weekend.

My list is too large to write.

Priority.. Install tilton pedal assembly.. (Lots of fab work/welding. test fitting, re-welding, repeat) Finish up roll cage.. Fiberglass in all rear widebody panels. Intall Fiberglass roof panel, Paint interior. With those down.. One million more other things after that. Build front end, all new wiring, etc, etc, etc.

^ It is 40 and raining in Seattle. 50 miles east we are getting another 2 feet. You have sunlight and cheap gas so it all balances out. Baker has 89 inches of base. It will be a good snow year.

I am going through an ex-IMSA GTU 911 that I recently got. It needs a bunch of cleaning up and a few maintenance items:
- proper fuel cell mount (done)
- re-route a few oil lines
- make a sport muffler for Lime Rock events
- clean up the interior: paint roll cage, clean and organize oil lines, wiring, put SFI padding, etc
- rebuild master cylinders and calipers
- raise engine/trans in the chassis about .75" so headers aren't the first thing to hit the ground!
- repair fiberglass in front spoiler and rear bumper from apparent off-track excursions

Rework hood duct exit, make and plumb surge tank, add fuel sender and program into IQ3, flush fastners to replace most of the button heads, move motor and trans foward 1.75 inches, fab new mounts and rework shifter bar, fine tune air ducting for front brakes, replace stock starter with light weight unit, finish drivers outside air ducting, tinker with front end aero to lower CoD.

Yep winter is all about racing here. I have 3 hour enduro this weekend. We do get a Christmas break but the next race is early January.
