IMO, mandating that race harnesses in non-race DE cars be no more than 2 years old is extremely moronic, to say the least.

NJMP is a first rate facility and getting better by the day. And the staff there go out of their way to make your visit as hospitable as possible. For those who haven't yet visited, I suggest you go and experience it for yourself.

Cheers!
No offense Bobby but you drive a GT3 RS and if they hassled you that might be deemed profiling.

I've never been bothered, love both tracks and it's a VG facility in general but I don't want a surprise next time I go there...

I've had nothing but great experiences at both tracks at NJMP, in fact, all three; the karting is very accomodating as well. The police presence is noticeable, but I've never been put off, and everyone is very courteous and helpful.
Are you telling me that I'm not going to be able to dump fuel into my car? I think this thread is an overeaction, at best.

Depends on what color the can is, and you have to be at least 1% Mexican...

All I want to know is.........

Is it going to happen again?........

Are paying customers going to be harassed at will?........

Great place, but what happened was totally unnecessary........

I hope someone is listening.........

Frank, Never said anything about harrassment. I like the facillity. Two drivers meetings at this weekend's event both repeated to the racers, DE participants, and instructors that seatbelts violations and speeding were being enforced and tickets had been given out for both types of infractions.

Let me word this a little differently: Be aware that there is a police presence at NJMP and you can receive a ticket for violating any rules that are posted for the facillity. I guess it is time to get a copy and read them before going there again. We are accustom to tracks having private security and it is very different on how black and white rules are enforced it does not mean that there rules are different.

Frank, you asked for a video. Have not done mine, but here is a racer from our group at the start of Saturdays race. I was the "Costa style dive bomber" in the #340 car chasing for the lead after missing a shift.

Thanks for posting, Bobby-Boy. Pretty ballsy move at the start there, I never pull moves like that, at least not this year!
And that Corvette was a moving chicane until he off'd.

^^^^^^^^^^^
Haha, mostly "H cars" running in GTS3. Track never was dry from lots of rain. I did run 1:30 on practice tires before the rain came. NASA mixes a lot of classes together so traffic is a challenge.

I thought the doc would appreciate the video.
