Vinyl guy called today though, can't vouch for what they look like but he's usually pretty good.
Welcome mat is open....just too bad a few more Texas natives couldn't make the trip.
But that's ok.....I'll remember that when we come to TWS next time and have extra food on hand....
Keep an eye on DC (mojo)....he's tricky fast.....

You need to come play down south when you get a chance.
Food's good...and there's always plenty good drink too.
I think there was 90% chance of thunderstorms when I woke up this morning.
Rained heavily two times today so we got two sessions with rain and standing water and two wet but drying session....pretty good day all around though.
Should be some vids up soon so check back here later.
For now, here's another of Eon and the guest of honor, ERVTX.
He got the purple and gold treatment....., nationally respected GT3 driver Ken LaBorde as his advanced instructor and I think he may have even had the first bowl of Jambalaya that was served.....,

Damn,T, you are as fast with the computer as you are with the 44!!! I just got home and haven't even unloaded the gear from the car. Great time was had by all and the cook enjoyed his ride, I think. I enjoyed meeting Russel and watching another GT3 on the track. Great meeting you Russel and be sure to come back. A hearty thanks to T who arranged the food service and again, give my compliments to the chef.

Dude, T never sleeps......heck, I even have the other forum already updated too.
It helps when you have a son to do the car loading/hauling and I am free to just drift off and let him handle it all.
And you know, "speed" is relative....hard to look half-way fast with GT3s on the grounds....
Dean loved the ride and I appreciated you taking the time.

The Mini belongs to the local Diniz family....., NASA GTS-3 car, supercharged, KW Grand Am coilovers and "custom" aero.
It used to run a full carbon rear diffuser.
Bracket class winner of our local series one year and also overall winner of 3 of our local 90 minute enduro races.
Very quick.....and the supercharger whine is phenomenal....

Yeah, and a celebrity chef to boot. The food was awesome, Dean!! Thanks for the extra helpings!
There's something wrong with this picture though....
3 Cajuns but only two of them are talking!

The weather on the drive back home today was just gorgeous. But I'm sure I learned a lot more by driving another wet track yesterday. Was it just me, or did the track have two different kinds of weather at each end during the 3rd run? Seems like I was on and off the windshield wipers for that entire run.
And you guys were over the top... thanks for the hospitality, and for hooking me up with Ken. After I had more or less figured out the line earlier in the day, he took the wheel in the last red session to show me how to brake more smoothly. Oh, and he also blew the doors off in the process. Wow. In retrospect, that run accounted for all of the speed I picked up in the last blue/yellow of the day... It took all I had to keep up with you and Eon in that last run; wouldn't have even been close w/o Ken's help.

I'm nowhere close to getting video uploaded, but in the meantime, here's the one photo I captured - Eon at the grid right before the last run.... (yeah, I'm pretty sure our cook enjoyed his earlier ride - you'll notice in my mirror that he's lined up behind me on the grid!).

Russel,PM me your address and I will make copies of my templates and mail to you with the video. That will save you a little time in getting them in place. The hardest part is the templates. I hope to be up your way to one of the events at TWS with T and Eon in the future.
