I think the 9 year old will be fine... we don't really park by the dirt anyway and I think he only likes the red cars

I think Russell's car has some red on it....

Inside joke everybody - but when Scott's son (ELLSSUU) was about 4-5 years old, he visited with his dad to my shop and threw a handful of dirt on the hood of my red 944T.

Would those be west bank strippers, or east bank strippers? Aren't those on the west bank a little more... uh, "seasoned"?

Arghhhhh, bad mental visuals when you put Westbank & Strippers in the same sentence.

Cheer up... your RL username was the inspiration behind the LSU Alumni Texas license plate on my truck:

Three days to go y'all....!

Found a worn spherical on the right a-arm front on my pre-track check but replacements will be here Friday.

Russell, we'll be combined, yellow and blue groups.... but still.....alot of space between cars on track.

I'm PM'ing you cell #'s for both me and Eon in case you have trouble finding the track or whatever.

Well, the material I am using is pretty hard to stretch around all of the curves and bumps to go down the rear bumper. So I took your flag logo idea and mocked one up large enough to use in the rear. Added a few minor touches here and there. It will be a shame to put track garbage all over it on Saturday, but the drive on Friday should be interesting!

Maybe the Louisiana flag, and the Louisiana Native plates with "Geaux Tigers" on it will tip the balance with any discussions over potential "traffic faux pas".

Can't wait! Looking forward to learning a new track and making new acquaintances. See you guys on Saturday!

Looks good, but bring rain tires. Still 50% chance of rain. Has been raining last few days this week. Went to track testerday to paint curbing and it was raining.
Have a safe haul in.

I believe Russell is weather tested enough to make it around the track with a little rain lol. I just hope we don't get one of those 30 minute downpours like we had last time...

See you guys at the track!

If(a BIG if) the front makes it through before Sat. AM, it should be great weather, first cool (relative term) day of this autumn. Should be a great day either way. Last I checked, almost 40 registered, including the ladies run group.

Your superior idea just couldn't wait

Besides, I reserved room on the windshield for your sticker, and the flags in the back will eventually be replaced with the stripe once I find the patience to cut the vinyl in something other than a straight line.

LOL. Yeah, TWS has seen its share of rain in 2009, that's for sure. And honestly, on the GT3 the PS 2's seem to work better in the rain - the car just dishes out too much for them to be useful on a dry track.

It went through Dallas on Tuesday/Wednesday, and it got nice and chilly. Lots of cloud cover in its wake, so the temps are staying pretty low. I just hope that I don't catch up to it on the drive tomorrow.
