Default Lucas Luhr at the Ring

Sorry if this has already been posted. A full lap of the Ring with Lucas Luhr driving a Manthey Racing GT3. Love the emergency vehicles on track as well as the BMW with the rear bumper hanging off...

If you do go, go during the week when people should be at work! Tourist weekends are just idiotic these days unlike when the 'Ring wasn't as renown a few years back.

If you go try to stay there for a week. The Nordschleife is awesome, but take the time to make it an experience!

Harry, what time of the year is best to get back over there? September? Is that new roller coaster open yet? Supposed to be the fastest in the world, right?

Pedro:
reminds me of the wax lips we used to get as kids. I like the double look out the side window @ 2.17 when he was squezed to the right.

Regarding your bucket list we share that item, I might be looking at it next year with some friends that race in Germany.

Was that oncoming traffic he was passing? At those closing rates, I'll be half the drivers probably never saw him coming.

Michael, I would definitely say after the work/school break which is from July through August. September things settle back down again for sure and also provides for very nice off circuit driving too with the many forest lined roads around here! When are you looking to coming back, would this be next year?

As for the coaster...well I was at the 'Ring yesterday for VLN series and the coaster was not open. I think yes it's supposed to be one of the world's fastest. 0-217 KPH in 2.5 seconds.

My only question (to anyone) is I wonder if they will run the coaster during major racing events...imagine riding this at the start of a GP race.
