Forgeline should be considered at least an equal to Fikse.

I only have one experience and it was very good. Recently sent two wheels back because they were leaking. Dip tank showed cracks along the inside of the inner rim half. Called Fikse, got an RMA, and sent out the wheels. They replaced the inner halves on both for free (halves, hardware, labor). I had to cover shipping. They were at Fikse for four business days. They were easy to get a hold of and when I emailed them they responded very quickly, sometimes within minutes.

My experience also has been positive.
Faxed in an order for a replacement rear 17" wheel for my E class 911 and received the wheel in just under 3 weeks no fuss whatsoever just last week.

I also recently had a 17" wheel repaired. They had the wheel for four days. Replaced the outer rim half. Good communication and quick turn around.
I just wish the repair prices were more reasonable.

Out of curiosity, if you bend a rim half or otherwise need major service, what do they typically charge?

Can you not get the parts easily enough? I've replaced inners, outers and wheel centers as needed on my BBS rims myself.

I've found that the charge was close enough to a new wheel that the last time I busted a set of Fikses, I just switched to a different brand (CCW)

Interesting...and a bit concerning as I have a couple of set of Fikses.

As a point of reference, I just had to replace the inner section on one of my Forgelines - it was $150 for the part and $35 in labor.

Cheers,

Rick

I think it's $125/wheel to take them apart and put them back together with reseal. They use new hardware everytime as well.

Update for those who might have an interest in how Forgeline handles repair...to replace my inner half, they charged $150 for the part, $35 in labor and it took 3 days.

I do like the Fikses I have on my street cars but I'm a much bigger fan of Forgeline...good wheels, competitive pricing and fantastic service.

Cheers,

Rick

To replace a 1.5x18 outer tub was
Tub - 275
Labor - 125
Shipping - 50

Wheel was in their possession less than 24 hours. Customer service has been tremendous, they have even helped me purchase used wheels, with no benefit to themselves other than promoting their brand

just my 2 cents...

Fikse must be out of business. The building they were in is empty and Will was laid of in September.

I have called them for three weeks. No one has returned my calls. I have sold Fikse wheels to my customers for15 years. Not good at all.

That's bad.

Great! I have a pending order with them for a replacement FM5 wheel center. They already charged my CC for $440 on 09/09/10. I guess I'm going to eat that
