Just saw the Rothmans car at VIR this weekend and all I can say is that this is one hell of a well set up package.
Went over and talked to the mechanic who was working on the setup. The car was turning 2:07's which is very fast for a stock motor.
The price was said to be 85K plus livery cost.
The rear wing is propriatary and not available outside the series was what I was told.
For the money you'd be hard pressed to buy anything that was this good. Going through the uphill esses at VIR that car was just amazing and sounded great as well.

So the price is $79.9K ??? I was under the impression that these cars were in the $65K range. I actually was considering a purchase but cannot justify the extra $15k plus wrap plus 2 extra sets of wheels and tires plus ???
A 996 Factory Cup is now on my wishlist/radar screen. Maybe Santa will hook me up....

We're working on convincing one of the guys to do it! The basic attitude from everyone thus far is that SOMEONE needs to do it, but no one wants to be that "someone".....

this is a well known issue on these cars. the abs unit was designed to only withstand certain G loads and it causes significant trouble once they are exceeded. People who have raced these cars actively have been chasing this problem from some time. PM Joel-CS and he can give you all the gory details or search under his name.
