Steve lost his engine in the 30 minute race so his rwhp does not matter much now. I think Noby dyno'ed around 193 or so. Both should be running right around the minimum of 2650. Walker is also at the minumum but his dyno sheet is lower, around 186 if I remember right.

I was at 190-ish on a relatively cool day in February. With my fat *** and the big coolsuit cooler, we were running a little over min. weight. Yes, we are well aware that some ballast is needed for GTS-2....

Alot of fun! That was some pretty close racing from all four of us. I had a great time. The mini-sprint did not feel mini to me, it felt like a battle royale. It was some very tough but clean racing.

Isn't that TR6's (Greg's) Miata?

I think it was more that he was avoiding the rocks I kicked up when I went off the outside curbing. I saw a cloud of rocks fly up behind me in my drivers side mirror and remember thinking that I hope the guy behind me isn't getting peppered. Notice that I was staying in the grass til the mini got by.

Yup, that be me. I saw him behind me and knew he'd be all over me by the time we climbed out of T10, so I gave him a point and lifted a bit. Then I waited, looked back again and was wondering 'why is he slowing down?'

Preliminary diagnosis: broken lifter or valve spring on cylinder #4. (noise abates when that one is taken out of the firing sequence). Still requires inspection for further damage, but I may be out of the woods as far as needing a new engine goes.

Yeah, mine dynoed at 187 rwhp out in Cali a couple years ago. We were all running a little heavy this weekend since the scales were off. I had to run almost a 1/4 tank & 15 Lbs. in the cool suit to make weight & my car is nuts on with no cool suit & on fumes on scales that work, over & over. I figure the lowest I ran at this weekend was 2685 on real scales.

I predict a dedicated track car in your future sooner rather than later. Retire the cab to weekend latte fetching duty.

First, let me finally get around to saying thanks to Maverick region volunteers for putting on another great club race! And also a huge thanks to everyone at ECR (Maggie, Linda and David Cook, and the rest of the gang) for their tireless work to make ECR great!

Ok, finally got a few minutes to start digging through my photos. In no particular order...

Great pics Greg. Thanks for sharing them. It was, indeed, a great weekend of racing.

More random shots. I didn't get as many at this race as I usually do. Seemed like the schedule was tighter so less time to take pictures.
