We have instructors looking for students, so if you are in the green and yellow groups sign up now so you won't get wait listed. Plenty of room in white and black also.

Instructors there are still spots open for a refund of your registration fee so register today.

Thanks for posting, Aaron;

The idea behind this event was to try and cover bases that have been left
empty by the run-of-the-mill DE. To that end, we would REALLY, REALLY like to
have a FEMALE ONLY run group. That is predicated on having enough
gals sign up to make it feasible.

Let's face it guys, a lot of our female freinds are just plain squeemish about
doing this. They are not that confident that they want to be out there "with a
bunch of crazed guys on a race track." They would really like to find out what
we are always rambling on about, what a blast it is, but they just "don't think
they fit in." This is the gal we want to cater to.

So guys, if your significant other has been on the fence, give her a shove and
sign up for this event. C'mon ladies.. we want you!!!

Great idea John - I'd like to see that happen.

Last year I instructed at NNJR's "Ladies Day" at Pocono. It was a very fun and rewarding experience. Every female first-timer had a blast.

For everybody else: right now we have more instructors than students signed up! So, please pass the word around to your friends - especially if they're novices.

We've ordered good weather: breezy, dry and not too hot.

Hope to see you there!

We still have open spots in the red run group for instructors to drive for free. Come on now instructors, how can you pass up two free days of driving at the Glen?

Only 1 student per instructor - I promise. (Unless you, on your own, volunteer to do double duty.)

We are still getting interest from drivers for this event, so we have decided to hold open registration for a bit longer. If you are thinking about joining us please register soon. www.clubregistration.net
See everyone at the Glen in a couple weeks.

Hey Everyone;

I want to announce some exciting new features for this event that will further differentiate it from your run-of-the-mill PCA DE. In a concerted effort to make this event fun and STRONGLY EDUCATIONAL...

- We are still planning on having a FEMALE ONLY run group, and we really hope to get many more participants for that feature.

Our newest additions to the event schedule include;

- Offering liberal passing opportunities for our Advanced run groups. This will allow you to undertake the usual safe and controlled pass in a far larger area of the track than previously allowed under the old PCA DE rules.

- Perhaps of most interest will be one special run session each day devoted to "Paired Driving." This will entail drivers finding a partner/driver to run side-by-side with around the entire track. This is not a situation that DE drivers find themselves in for this extended length of time, and it is an extremely fun and educational exercise. The improvement in DE driver's situational and spacial awareness, and comfort in driving well offline in unfamiliar portions of the track surface, will lead to dramatically increased skill levels for all drivers participating in it. We plan to offer this to our Intermediate and Advanced run groups.

- Depending on how things go, we also may add/substitute a Leap Frog session, where groups of 2-3 drivers spend the session passing and repassing eachother everywhere on the track (with a couple of exceptions). This is another tremendously rewarding exercise that will really have you brimming with new found confidence and grinning from ear to ear. We would offer this to our Intermediate and Advanced groups.

We all hope to see many of you there to take advantage of these rare opportunites. I'm really looking forward to it!

OK Folks;

We need 2 more instructors. Ideally we'd like to have 4 so the chiefs do not have to have students.

THESE INSTRUCTORS WILL DRIVE FOR FREE !

I'll even provide the beer...

So, does that mean that some instructors have to pay while others get in free?
