It's the opposite in my opinion. The back of the back ABCD cars will have a slow start because they start from the rear whereas the front running SP3 cars will have an explosive start because they are at the front. My guess remains that the SP race will be affected before a natural running order forms... at T1 on lap 2.

I was a total back marker at Mid-Ohio and it took the SP cars about 10 laps to catch me. The fastest SP guys passed me before I was lapped by Crossman et al.

Maybe you get enough Cup guys next year so that you get your own Run Group ;-)

There is talk of a 944 formation on the main straight for a photo of what may be the largest ever gathering of 944 race cars.

I am just about as excited to watch this year as I am about driving. The race groups should make for some excitement, this is only slightly near sighted as I get to be towards the front in H.

I am going to have the camera ready at turn 1 for the 44's during the start. 25 of them screamming for position is going to be fun to watch, and if for some reason a yellow comes out the restart will be really cool
