Default VIR top speed vs Road Atlanta?

For those who have driven both, what did you data show as the top speed at VIR and the top speed at Road Atlanta?

Thanks!

I don't remember the exact speeds, but Road Atlanta was definitely faster. I'm curious about Road Atlanta versus Road America, though.

I don't see how, nor do I care for anyone to go in to detail, why it matters, but let me rephrase my question anyhow.

For those of you with a GT car, was your top speed at VIR higher or lower than it was at Road Atlanta?

Hey Jarez,
Nice response!!
Maybe someone with a really BIG brain should answer this since I would also think that the type of car would play into the answer as well.
Ba whada I no!!

Let's start over.

Anyone reading, please out this survey:

Have you driven both VIR and Road Atlanta in the same car with no performance changes during the layoff between driving at each track? If yes, continue, if no then stop.

What kind of car were you driving?

What was your top speed at road atlanta?

What was your top speed at VIR?

Why is this so F****** hard?

Thanks for playing!

If it has the same hp but more torque, it will go 10mph faster down the straight.

Going over my gear charts for the FC

RA is the same top gear, Road Atlanta and Road America.

VIR is a tick shorter with the top gear being 4 mph slower at Redline.

Brian P., No question that Road America is faster than Road Atlanta and this is before Road Atlanta put in the bus-stop prior to the bridge. With the longest gear avaialble, I was bouncing off the tach stop heading into turn 5 at Road America. Not so at Atlanta.

I would vote in this survey, but don't see the poll. I'm betting that top speed is within a 1-2mph between the two tracks. As far as this discussion:

FYI, a certain moderator will ban you for using the word "retard" here.
