The carpeting and sound deadening keeps out a lot of heat. I found out when I pulled out all the sound deadening in my 944 and replaced the carpet (for looks!). I then drove it to Hershey to sell it. It was crazy hot in there on a relatively cool day.

Prior to solo - instructors wanted my visor up, no sun glasses - I'm guessing they wanted a clear view to see where I was looking ...

Its become a habit - but based on these posts, I'm thinking I'm going back to visor down ... and sunglasses

Yep.. I let that little bastard out when I gave you the point bye! Try it again and it'll be a hand-full of thumb tacks.

Tinted visor all the way down, at night- partially open. found that having a tinted visor at night helps your eyes adjust better in between stints...and keeps the high beams from freaking you out

now if oakley made me a custom visor...that would be sweet - but I'd rather not wear shades inside my helmet

That's because your engine is in the wrong place!

+1 when the sweat rolls down into your eyes, you cannot do anything about it if you are wearing sunglasses

Well, when it's a choice between prescription sunglasses or just plain glasses, the sweat problem is just a given. (Unless you can get a prescription visor!)
