10 K , Talk about blind faith ...........

Careful MK , remember VR is only a little "Slower" than the already fast Seth Thomas ....

Well if 2 seconds is a " little " ......................

I think a neutral track would be fair to both with the looser (how ever that's defined) picking up the tab of the winner..

If you make it VIR I could throw in some comps as well

Twig & Berries is correct. I am a little slower than the fastest racer in World Challenge Touring.

Sorry (as usual) that backfired on you, though, Twig & Berries.

Eddie, thanks.

Careful BobbyC, if you don't completely agree with The Back Peddler, and hang on his every word, you too will become a target of his school yard antics. You already have become "big hitter".

wow this turned into a serious war!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
after many pages of reading I will summarize.....

VR does not want to come to Laguna Seca for about $350 in airfare-hotels......
NJ is too far for both drivers......
Bobby is willing to wager that VR will win, I am willing to wager that MK will win & pay for his rental miata + track fees.....

How about a neutral track somewhere inbetween texas and norcal......I'm thinking Reno Fernly or Vegas.... I know of an inexpensive DE day at Reno-fernly in early June.....I could make arrangements for two spec miatas too....???? Since its a DE just make it a time trial format, fastest lap wins.....

LOL...unfortunately, it would be a lot more than $350 from Austin. Also add in rental car to/from airport, track fees, etc. As I said, if gladiator boy wants to pay my way to his home track, I will happily oblige. It is sad he seems extremely reticent to go anywhere else except his home track, however. I wonder why?

The Denver track might also work, along with Farley. I have been to neither.

As an aside, it's hilarious to see Mark cross-posting this in his 928 forum to try to drum up "support". Seems Randy V summarized it perfectly.

^

And 70 people have voted, so $5 apiece should cover the $350 to make it happen at Laguna.

Or $10 apiece and we could have another round at "local" track for VR.

Then, if there was tie, another $X contribution would go for a third location.

Entertainment value... Priceless.

I'm in for a contribution.

LOL! Sure thing! However, for me, the only of those that I haven't driven are Road America and CMP.
