Indeed. That is why it is a crack-up.

absolutely certain without the 5 yards. a wild card bet to give you 5 yards.

Straight up, we run a 60m after the race. DONE

And yes, I know you were an All American decathlete.

Makes you really curious, and a bit nervous, why I would so readily accept this challenge, doesn't it?

Fine.

60m after the race. 5 yards head start if you think you need it.

if you two come to denver i can likely arrange a pair of spec944's and possibly the track time as well. if you both man up i will even set up each car to your preference and ability along with a crew guy to make sure there are no excuses.

From my exciting reading of this soap opera, I don't believe that is accurate. VR, and others, was suggesting either a track they both knew very well, or one that neither has ever driven. VR did make a comment that he "suspected" he would beat MK at any track. MK then grabbed that like a last available life-line and jumped on his home track Laguna Seca like a dog on a bone. MK then continued to use VR's comment as his reason for abandoning the "neutral track" idea and his clinging to his home track blankey! Others continued to suggest options for neutral tracks, but MK was busy wiping his brow after being "saved" (he thinks) by grabbing onto his home track as the venue. VR then accepted MK's monetary effort to make sure he got to drive his home track.

So, we have a location. Dates, cars and other details have yet to be defined, so we don't have a race quite yet.

Suggest swapping cars during the contest to ensure no claims of one car being down on power or poor setup, tires, etc, compared to the other. I like the idea of using spec miatas since they are low powered momentum cars which neither VR or Mark drive. Plus they are cheap in terms of running cost and replacement cost.

125cc TaG (Rotax or Leopard) single speed karts.
Senna said that karting is the purest form of motorsports.
Fast, affordable, easy to provide duplicate setups/tuning.
Pick an outdoor sprint kart track and then find out who is the better driver.
End of story.

Spec Miata would be ideal, as HP and Torque are not an issue... they have neither.
