You have a very keen eye -It was an Audi S4 wagon, what you see on the roof are the safety lights. We did two laps at speed, that is why the car in front of the pace car is gone after we cut back after the second hairpin. There was a bug that got on the lens and we begged the ACO for a second shoot around the track. You can see the take with the bug on the screen that Alan is viewing towards the end of his read. I am not sure how much the speed of the footage of the car was changed at all, the ACO put one of there drivers in the car and I can say that when they drove by us on the first flying lap that they were flying when they drove past us on the wall at pit out.

Thanks for the info. I was wondering about where that other car went but figured you did it to not to show that it was a street car.

I'm sure the driver was going as fast as that S4 was able to go but based on just watching the tape and what I've driven on track myself, it certainly looks quite "speedy".

I loved the part when McNish is sitting in from of the teleprompter and detailing turn by turn. You could hear the excitement in his voice and see the passion he has for the course.

Do you have to have an ipod to get this or can i get it to my compute without an ipod or any apple software? I was stumbling around between turn 10 and the Patron tent Friday night!

You need iTunes. You don't need an iPod. I watched it on my TV after I downloaded it.

so after i dowload it can i then burn it for the dvd player?

You can't burn it. It's copy protected. I can connect my laptop to the TV/sound system with a DVi/optical cords. You can also do it wirelessly if you have AppleTV.
