I use Rainex even though I have wipers.

I find the wipers flashing in front of my eyes to be distracting, and the blades sometimes lift at high speed.

YES, Rain X works great. I use it even though I have a wiper. The Rain X Anti-Fog works great also in those conditions.

We used RainX on the helmet shields when racing formulas, worked like a charm.

+1 on the Rainx... though wipers can be nice to have if someone's throwing mud!

Nice car, jackson! Need more pics!!

Either that or a good coated piece of lexan...you don't want to use rainex on lexan anyway. With the coating that comes on lexan from Shields, I've never had much of a problem seeing in the rain without wipers as long as I can keep the inside fog free.

The Shield's anti fog coating works well for that.

Doesn't work well enough IMO...we have the coating, but it only seems to work suitably in a narrow range of conditions/temps. A little shampoo solves that problem though.

Nothing better than racing in the rain in an open wheeler IMO.

Racing without wipers is not an option up here in the PNW. But I do use RainX also as it definitely helps bead the water.
