The MkII cup splitter is the one you want. There are basically 3 OEM options for you....the MkI splitter, the MkII splitter, and the MkII cup splitter.

The best of the bunch is the MkII cup splitter. It's a little deeper and a little wider. Also more sturdy. I have the MkII splitter on my CAB and the MkII cup splitter on my GT3.

Here is the thread I did over on Renntech that shows how I got a MkII splitter on a MkI bumper:

Also, here is a picture showing the difference between the Mk II spliiter and MkII cup splitter;

My rake delta was about 10mm but then again I had a VERY low ride height.

You really want to use the later 996 cup splitter. You will need to drill a couple of holes but it's an easy install. If you need the part number I can get it to you when I get home and check the manual.

I think the guys are right about the ride height and rake but I'm not sure that's going to solve your problem in a high speed corner. Assuming they make you run pretty soft springs that wing it going to compress the back and and naturally lift the front. It doesn't take much at 135. I remember just adding a wickerbill to my old 996 cup's wing caused me to go from neutral to a push so bad I almost drove off the track.

With only 300 hp I wonder if that big wing will do more harm than good?

The MkI splitter is less than $100
The MkII splitter is about $250
The MkII Cup splitter is about $175 (go figure right, something cheaper by PMNA over PCNA!)

I fully expected that big wing to cause a balance problem. It's way too much downforce, especially for a car with less than 250rwhp. The Gt3 RS wing might have been a better choice. A Taco Winged car will be faster in a straight line than one (996 Spec) with a Cup Wing.

My guess is that it may also cause intake issues if not used with the proper decklid.
