oh god! Please, talk about irony! two different cars. as you once said.'

Getting this all back on track, the hp curves tell the actual story. Ive driven both cars too, and trust me, they are near equal. anyway, dont have lap times to prove it, but I can show you the hp curves of both.

CTSV 4500rpm to 6200rpm HP is 438, 410, 395 and 365 in 500rpm increments.

BMW 6000 to 8200rpm Hp is 365 400, 410 430 425hp in 500rpm increments

average is 402hp for the CTSV and 406 for the BMW.

Now, interesting enough, the CTSV has about 100 more ft-lbs of torque, yet they both will come off any turn with near the same rear axle torque. (VR ask me if you want me to show you why)

any another speculative opinons can be saved unitil the telemetry can verify this, as it can.

this is the net net of the discussion. Thanks for posting those graphs. point made perfectly. however, in VR's experience, he has seen the CTSV end up at a higher speed down a straight. maybe this could be to driver error physics doesnt lie my friend!
