Default Laguna Seca OCT 3-5th SCCA ITE double regional RACEs

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Final Laguna Seca race is happening next weekend. The NorthWest Porsches will be there as well as a host of other pretty competitve cars.
So far it looks like 13 porsche 911s, cup car, RSA, and of course the 2 local porsche 928s (scot and me). The Griggs racing monster Mustang, as well as the comp coupe viper, camaro, M3s and even a Lotus Exige.

All we need now is the Joe and Mark A 928s to come on up!

So far 43 cars signed up (a little light) but 29 ITE, which is almost a record entry number. we are missing a big mass of miatas, which is a good thing. I think last year or the year before we had near 70 cars!

Should be a good event

Don't worry...we're just slow to sign up...

I suspect that it's because Group 5 has 3 races so the SM's run there rather than Group 1

Thanks. A couple of us black sheep might come down to cheer you guys on (and check out the series).

Based on the schedule i saw it looks like Sunday could be a better day since you have qual and a race (vs just a race on Saturday). make sense?

Make sure you tell Palis, that he is in BP class to avoid any issues in tech.

I know last year they DQ'ed him for running the Cup car slicks.

(Cup cars , comp coupes, and Panos, all run in the BP class)

Look foward to meeting you ! should be a great weekend, except for trying to keep quiet for some of our sessions. (101db)

I'll try. He is at the PCA race at Miller this weekend, so I won't see him before next weekend.

Nice job Mark. I only saw you for a liitle while. That was a great performance for running on shaved toyos. Turns 2-5 were pretty slick, and I was on a borrowed set of unshaved Toyos. I'm hoping to keep you in sight tomorrow. Have fun.
