Actually - I think that Hamilton vintage 2008 is starting to sound more and more like Alonzo vintage 2007

I don't understand why people feel the need to make posts dedicated to bashing the character of any given F1 driver.

Does it make you feel better about yourselves, since you will never be a famous race car driver, to pick apart Kimi, Alonso, and Lewis?

...because if you look past the last two races F1 in recent years is a soap opera, so when actual racing doesn't happen we end up looking for useless stuff like this to talk about.

Whoa!

If you put yourself out as a Public Figure, you get those who like you and those who do not

I feel no pity for the Hammis or Massas any more than I do for the Pitts and Jolies.

If you live for public acclaim and adoration, expect detraction as well.

If your position is that "only someone as good as them can criticize them", you'd better look at your own values too and make sure you're not in violation as well.

I'll never be a presidential candidate, but that doesn't mean I can't have an opinion about the candidates. I'll never play in the NFL, but I have an opinion that one running back is better than another. Or the off field antics of certain players despite their on field greatness.
