Paolo, when and where is your first race? Maybe I can be talked into being a pit boy.

Do you already have a license? There is no comp school at WGI in October.

better get working fast on the license...just do one of those lime rock skip schools and you should be set.

about track side assistance- be real. the race is what, 40 mins long? if you break something, pack it up and go home.

a lot of carnage could happen in front of you- be prepared to go into the grass in order to save your car!

um...if your car breaks in practice or qual, do you want to go home before racing? Trackside assistance is for between sessions not during the race other than someone being on the radio with you to call the flags for you.

F? What model do you have? I guessed looking at your car it was a 964. Shows how much I know

It is a '87 911 with some mods.......hence F class......

On the other hand you have quite a new racecar.....if I might say so myself......

Are you in G or H class?

I guess your rear wing reminded me of the new (to me) 964RSA I just picked up....thanks for the compliments

She will run stock G without the wing insert and GTS3 in NASA with the wing insert. One of these days I'll upgrade the brakes, etc, to run H but right now the wallet needs a vacation

Paola, ignore the pit babes, as they are only stopping at your car in reference to the question "who the hell is that?".

Just be yourself (well......) and breath easy. It will be a lot of fun and you will first learn what you need to learn.

well depending on what breaks, you might not have a choice. gearbox, engine, etc - unless you've got a spare of said part, and a pit crew (LOL) you are toast.

pushing your vehicle around the track while it leaks oil is frowned upon, even in pca.
