That was a 1990 only option and I haven't found them, and Weissach was out of them when I purchased the rest of the spare parts for the 964 Cup several years ago.

Do you have one on the other side? When we broke one we just took out the other side and took it to a local glass shop and they were able to cut a new piece.

Amondc,

I do have one on the other side. But how do you get it off. I have been looking and I can't find where to adjust the mirror, let alone take it off.

I have tried to move passenger mirror to adjust it and it won't budge. I am afraid that if I use brute force, I will be without this mirror as well. Any input will be appreciated.

the 996 cup mirrors had a nut on the inside. if you take the mirrior off the car is there a hole that allows you to get inside the housing? I have never taken one of those apart so I dont really know.

Here is an aftermarket reproduction of the 935 mirror which looks the same as what you are showing.

Thanks for everyone's input.

I called Vertex who then recommended that I talk to Better Bodies of California. BB makes the fiting and the glass. http://www.betterbodiesmotorsport.com/mirrors.htm.

Apparently, the manufacturer of the glass w/the plastic backing plate went out of business 5 years ago.

Problem solved!

Yes, I was there and I saw your car as well and said to myself, "i recognize that car from Rennlist." I just got that car and am still trying to sort it out.

Will the glass from a Vitaloni mirror work?
