Default New light weight Track Wheels

I am thinking about getting some new reasonably priced light weight track wheels. Currently gravitating towards CCW Classic wheels. What are opinions on these or alternatively can anyone suggest a good alternative.

PS looking for 17" rims for a 951

I have CCW's as track wheels, light, inexpensive (relatively) but not the best finish in the world if that matters to you.

CCW all the way. Tough as nails, and relatively inexpensive for a true custom fit.

I like my CCWs. The only issue cmpared to wheels costing 2x is that you can see the tooling marks. So for the street, I wouldn't get them, but for the track they are the best bang for the buck.

Love my CCW's! I have the anodized clear finish.

Tom, wanna trade wheels? I like the flat black you have! :-)

CCW Classic "Street" 17x9 = 19 lbs, 17x11 = 21 lbs, as weighed on a household scale at discount tire.

Dan,
16" or 18" are your two sizes for 951's.

Dan, if you're going to take the plunge into track wheels, I'd recommend 18"s.

Another wheel that is cheap and light are Enkei. I am using the NT-03 (from their racing series) on my 87 951. The off sets are 50 in front and 60 in back. They weigh about 19 lbs for 18" wheels. They are running about 300 a wheel at Vivid Racing, Discount Tire, etc. They are not a bad lloking wheel, and as a track wheel they are working fairly good for me.

What size do you use on your 944T?
