Poor guy, for the father's day gift, only thing he hopes is a ride in his son's 993 but gets denied...

The guy that bought my DE car last winter is now blasting me in the 993 section. He finally got around to picking up the car six months after he bought it, and NOW he's got serious buyer's remorse. He's even mad the car wasn't vacuumed. https://rennlist.com/forums/993-forum/436151-just-got-deeply-scr-wed.html
Any CVR people who know the car please feel free to opine.

You ever have a buddy tell you he went on a blind date ? The friend told him that his girlfriends cousin is in town and she looks like a young Raquel Welch but when you meet her she looks more like "Cousin It " .....That is why I never went on a blind date. Sometimes it is that the beauty is in the eye of the beholder and sometimes you just ain't gettin the truth... either way if you don't go and look for yourself before committing then it's on you !

And now he has a locked thread over on 993 informing us that you are refunding the PPI and providing the center caps. Will probably be read as 'he was right, you were wrong.'

I only read the 1st 7 pages and got bored. I also bought a DE car. It needed painting too, still does. I've also had to put rotors, ball joints, wheel bearings, top end rebuild, new fuel cell...MAN! I love this car!
In other words, I expected all of this and actually think I got a good deal. DE and racing is tough on cars and parts will have to be replaced. I'm convinced it's less on Porsches than on other cars. It's just the cost of the sport IMHO.

Nothing actually. Maybe bring his uphill hand up and a bit more forward
8 years ago it was a bit of a faux pas and the skis couldn't take much of a lean like that. Now with the shape skis a bit of a lean and using the uphill ski to turn is the way to go.

I'm happy to go skiing (or take a kick in the nuts) with anyone here .
Circuit:
Good skiers have always moved inside the arc, and big inclination angles are a key to getting the ski tipped over and bending. There are some remarkable pics in Witherall's book 'How the Racers ski" (1973) that demonstrate these skills on 'old' equipment - within a decade of the introduction of metal in skis (Head).
If you watch the best in the world these days, there is less attention paid to hand position and more emphasis on freedom of movement and relaxation.... And even with shaped skis, you still want to use primarily the downhill/outside ski to turn - can't cheat physics .
