Somebody here almost certainly has video of it.
I am with Brian and Doug on this: to some extent we need to lay off the 944 driver until we see some additional video. I agree that he seemed to be flying past Sean on the right, but it seems highly unlikely he is driving in the grass in the esses on purpose to take advantage of a wreck. I suspect he was trying to avoid hitting Sean's move back to the right. Now, why he didn't check up sooner, I don't know, but I'd like to see video from behind before judging.

All this said, the fact he didn't talk with Sean about it implies some guilt, I feel...

On the result sheets, they've got the Red 944 as completing 10 laps. Anyone know how that happened?

They didn't know he was involved until after I went to see the stewards after being released from medical. I showed them the video and they brought him in. I think it also says something that he kept going and did not come in on his own.

Regardless of what caused the 944 to shoot by you in the grass during an accident, he side-swipes you, HAS to have seen the results of that contact, and then keeps on racing??? Equivalent to a hit and run in my eyes, he's lucky i'm not the one handing out punishment.

That is completely unacceptable, clearly against PCA Racing etiquette and rules. He should be given an automatic double 13 for that. Buh bye.

It speaks volumes. And as Charlie implies, that is not the kind of guy we want PCA racing...period.

Well, the guy misses the Glen race, so clearly he doesn't care about us anymore, eh?

(Btw, Larry, thanks for the call Friday re: my engine, sorry I haven't called back yet. Will soon... )

I say we dress him up as a Limerock Steward and lock him in a small room with Ron S.
