I agree.

BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Where are the detractors now? Melo and Salo are getting it handed to them this year. From first to just about worst. I still remember that cocky look Melo had on his face before Leguna last year said they werent worried about beating the Porsches. My how the times have turned.

Pilet (Lizard 46) moves from 4th to 2nd, Muller (F-Car) back to 4th then finishes 3rd? Werner (Farnbacher Lowes) fighting and you are showing in cockpit of P2 cars not in contention or fighting? We don't know that Werner is running on fumes? What's going on with Tafel? How did Pilet get by Tafel?

AAAAggggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

Again I agree, they showed Pilet right on the tail of Tafel's car and then completely laid an egg in covering it. While keeping track of overall was good TV, they could have done much better. To hell with the pit interviews while there is RACING!!!!!!!!!

Anytime the ferarri team needs a driver that can run fast laps and not run into everyone in the field, (for no apparent reason), im available for free.
The way i figure it, i could save the team about $1,000,000 per year
What a goof! I think this might be apart of the LG accident magnet Vet. His cars are usually pretty fast, but he always seems to end up with some bad luck.

Just got back from MMP. What a race! I Tivo'd it, so am getting ready to sit down and watch. You guys have to be kidding - the GT2 race was where it was at - and they didn't show it on Speed?

I'll watch it and report back later. My son and I sat on the grass in front of the Clubhouse and had a great view of Turns 22 & 23 as well as the Jumbo Tron. That is the way to watch a race!

Please tell.....what happened the last 29 minutes in GT2? Last we saw was 2nd-4th for the following cars.

#71 Tafel Racing
#87 Farnbacher Loles' RSR Werner
#46 Lizards - Pilet

then at 1:05 remaining we say Farnbacher pit and Pilet went to 2nd.

THAT'S IT!

Chalk it up to two 1/2 crews working two road races this weekend. Dorsey and Lee were calling the race at Laguna Seca Yesterday and Dorsey usually the one who keys in on where the action is, and then the director follows with the cameras.

Both the Tafel Farrari and the Farnbacher RSR had only stopped once and needed to pit to make it to the end.
The Tafel Ferrari pitted and the Farnbacher RSR and the #46 Lizard RSR moved into second and third respectively.
Then the Farnbacher car (that was running on fumes) had to pit and Pilet moved into second.
The Farnbacher car crossed the start-finish line whilst in pit lane ahead of the Tafel Ferrari and took third.
Unfortunately they have been disqualified because it was found that the Farnbacher car had a larger fuel cell than is allowed by the regulations.

What is going on with Melo and Salo? Melo is making pretty bad terminal mistakes and Salo just ain't driving like he used to. The RSR seems to have caught up to (if not edged by) the F430GT, but comparing Salo/Melo to Farnbacher & Co makes me wonder what is happening with these 2 guys.

We should start odds on how long Melo will remain in that car.

Thanks Spyderidol, thought that was probably it. Amazing we had to hear the scoop from Mozambique!

I give Melo one last minor screw-up and he's gone.

Huh? Dumas coasted down the front straight for the checkered! Not too exciting... Did you miss, well, let's see, Sebring, Road America, Mosport, Road Atlanta, and Laguna last year on ALMS' schedule? Those races were epic! Perhaps you meant most exciting this season (even so, probably not)?

Melo is a friggin' joke.

Let's hope he sticks around. He seems to be doing a good job for Porsche these days.
