it **** coverage is the responsibility of the guys in the truck. The booth can only respond to what they see. We see the same thing in the F1 coverage when the video switches right in the middle of a comment.

Dr. J, I thought it was exciting due to the fact that a brand new team came in put on a show and it was fun to see the Audis have to fight a little at the start with a car in their own class. How many lead changes were there? It wasn't until very late in the race that the Penske strategy paid off that lead to the "coasting down the front straight".

F1 differs. In F1, the Speed comentators are using a video feed that Speed does not control; the "world feed" as they call it. Here, the Speed production folks decide what video to show when. I suspect that it is a collaberative effort between the truck and the announcers as to what to show and talk about
