June event at Harris Hill road
The Coastal Bend Region of the Porsche club of America is proud to announce the inaugural DE/TT event to be held June 14th at Harris Hill Road course in San Marcos, Texas. This beautiful 1.8 mile road course consists of 9 turns and several elevation changes. For this event, we will be running counter clockwise.
We are very excited to bring you this inaugural CBR event at Harris Hill Road. To make this event as enjoyable as possible, registration will be limited to 45 total entrants. Due to the limited number of participants, we must insist that you pre-register for this event at rgvpca.org. Following your registration, you will have the ability to pay for this event via Paypal. Registrants NOT willing to pay via Paypal may mail in their payment. Mailed in entries must be postmarked by May 26th. Entry fee is 150.00. Entries will be accepted on a 1st come 1st come basis.
During this inaugural event, we must insist that all drivers have been previous cleared to drive SOLO by CBR PCA or have previous DE experience to participate in this event. If the CBR PCA feels that you do not have enough driving experience, your registration will be canceled and your money refunded in full.
Harris Hill Road has a STRICT noise limit of 95 dba trackside & is intended for street cars only. If you have a track car & it meets the noise requirement you are welcome to join us. (Please contact rmj951@gmail.com if you have any questions about this)

I'd highly encourage anyone interested to sign up for this event -- the H2R track is a lot of fun to drive. It flows well and has plenty of fun curves. Counter-clockwise is a blast.

FYI, that is the same weekend as the LSR PCA event at TWS, which will probably be clockwise. Lots of your potential students & all your potential instructors will be at TWS that weekend...

Thanks but, we will not need very many instructors for this event as we are asking for experienced drivers only. We are aware of the other events as June is full of track events around Texas & the 14th was our best option. TWS will be a blast clockwise but, this will be the inaugural event at a new track in so we hope that is a big draw for 45 drivers.

There are few on youtube, but the majority seem to be clockwise. Here's a CCW run from an M Roadster: http://youtube.com/watch?v=3gcV4faNYkM
Not as useful, here's my girlfriend and I (she's a lot faster than me!) It's two-cam and the interior shots are sort of hard to see since the top was up. (and it's clockwise): http://youtube.com/watch?v=NnLB-2rz8M4
