Ha ha. I somehow learned self-restraint when I was just getting started at 21 after observing for a couple of years how quickly you COULD go off the deep end (my employer, and a Fiat 850 H Production car, of all things).

So, sure, I've had a very aborted racing (even track) career, but I haven't squandered a small fortune. The flip side is, it kinda sucks to pretty much be in a position to run anything (within reason) now, and business demands, let alone the health issues that crop up mid-40's keep me on the sidelines.

Here's to finding a happy medium!

It is not a slope, it is a cliff.

This track stuff is like being a 16-year old guy and all the girls are in bikinis.
Or something like that - the point being, the logic goes out the window.
Since the girls in bikinis are no longer available to me, I am thankful for the car passion.
