Now how about some more slippin' and slidin'. Can you spot the proper use of BFI?

George, in all frankness, that original poster was not swayed & will not be swayed by know-nothings like you and me. He is CLEARLY much more knowledgeable about what to do than anyone here or at the events you and I instruct, even if the way-off-base "advice" he regularly dispenses can get people hurt or killed.

The only question I have about all of this is: Let's assume you finally get to the point where you (read "a particular driver") have elected, by necessity or otherwise, to have both feet in. At what point do you re-open your eyes?

It's like you guys always leave out the most important step.

As an instructor it is very important to be ready when a student comes into a corner too hot. We usually know before the student. If it is a safe place to spin or go off let the student learn. If it is a bad location on the track for an off then you should have told the student on the warm up lap not to push it here.
Even the wealthest student would prefer to take their car home in one piece.

Darn it, do I have to spell it out for you southerners!!!! Did you see the video? Third part entering into T1, around the 52 second mark in the video? Spell check replaces words for no good reason for us foreigners.....
